On Tuesday, 24 July 2012 Chad Brooks from Microsoft will be
our presenter.
I haven’t gotten the fully presentation description yet, but
I think he was talking about presenting on something like Windows 8 for .NET
developers using Metro Controls and Async.
The topic for this month's meeting is:
Learn how to build great applications for Windows 8 and the Metro User Experience using familiar .Net Languages and XAML. During this talk, we will explore the breadth of controls available to the .Net Developer, programming using the async keyword, and how to build components that are consumable from other WinRT languages (like HTML5 and C++).
Chad is an Architecture Evangelist for Microsoft and gets to
spend his time doing cool stuff for cool companies using MS tech.
Meeting is at 7pm. Drinks and Snacks will be provided.
